The park is open from 8 am to 8 pm daily year-round, although caution is advised in winter, as no lighting is provided on the trails. Free parking is available at the park entrance on E 96th Street, just half an hour’s drive from downtown Indy.
4. University of Indianapolis Tennis Center
Taking up a sport is one of the best ways to keep fit. Taking up tennis at UIndy is a great option with good value lessons available to students and the general public alike. It’s got all the facilities you could need, including a kitchen, showers and a lounge to relax in after you play.
The Tennis Center is located on National Avenue, close to the UIndy campus. It’s open from 8 am to 10:30 pm Monday to Friday, 8 am to 8 pm on Saturdays, and 12 pm to 8 pm on Sundays, with free parking available. Pre-booking a court is recommended.
