2019 Jeep Cherokee in Indianapolis, IN

The Jeep Cherokee, one of the original SUVs on the road, continues to offer incredible performance and comfort in its signature package. For the 2019 model year, Jeep has upgraded some of the Cherokee’s interior features and engine capabilities on its eight different trims. Let’s take a closer look at these models.

Latitude

The base level Cherokee is available with front-wheel drive or a 4×4 configuration. The 2.4-liter inline-four engine reaches 180 horsepower. The Latitude sits atop 17-inch painted aluminum wheels and is available in six earthy colors.

The UConnect 4 multimedia system is controlled via a generous 7-inch display that supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The interior is outfitted with cloth seats, standard USB port, and a 12-volt outlet in the trunk.

Latitude Plus

The Latitude Plus has many of the same features as the Latitude but trades the base wheels for 17-inch satin carbon aluminum wheels and cloth seats for premium vinyl coverings. The Latitude Plus also includes an eight-way power driver’s seat, an extra USB port, and remote keyless push-button start.

Limited

Building on the amenities of the Latitude Plus, the Cherokee Limited adds 18-inch gloss black aluminum wheels, an upgraded 7-inch instrument panel display, dual-zone climate control, heated leather seats, and an enlarged 8.4-inch UConnect touchscreen interface.

Trailhawk

In addition to the features of the Limited, the 4×4 Trailhawk is equipped with a robust 3.2-liter V-6 engine topping 271 horsepower and 239 pound-feet of torque. This muscular trim is Trail Rated with raised height, off-road suspension, and skid plates alongside red tow hooks. Jeep’s Selec-Terrain traction management system facilitates your off-roading adventures.

Trailhawk Elite

Available only in a 4×4 configuration, the Trailhawk Elite builds upon the features of the Trailhawk. The Elite boasts heated and ventilated premium leather-trimmed front seats and heated steering wheel, windshield wiper de-icer, remote vehicle start, hands-free power liftgate, and memory features for the driver’s seat, radio presets, and exterior mirrors.

Overland

Cherokee’s highest-end trim, the Overland, offers a truly premium driving experience. Building upon the amenities in the Trailhawk, the Overland additionally features 19-inch polished aluminum wheels, heated and ventilated nappa leather front and rear seats and a leather-wrapped instrument panel. Enjoy the UConnect 4C NAV via the top-quality Alpine nine-speaker audio system.

Altitude

The sleek limited-edition Altitude features blackout details throughout the exterior such as black roof rails and bold black front badging. The 18-inch gloss black aluminum wheels add a premium touch to this sophisticated model. The Altitude can be outfitted with an optional 2.0-liter turbo engine with an impressive 270 horsepower and 295 pound-feet of torque. Inside, enjoy the black leather-wrapped steering wheel and SiriusXM.

High Altitude

The luxurious High Altitude includes sophisticated features such as low-gloss granite exterior crystal accents, new premium LED headlights an impressive 19-inch granite crystal aluminum wheels. Enjoy premium black leather heated seats and anodized gunmetal interior finishes as you browse audio and apps on the UConnect 4C NAV with 8.4-inch touchscreen
