The Jeep Renegade is one of the most off-road capable compact SUVs you can find, while its boxy exterior style and optional features make it the ultimate choice for any drive. Jeep offers it with two different engines, and it comes with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. Jeep offers four trim levels to choose from, including the off-road-ready Trailhawk. Take a look at what you get with each of the Renegade’s trims.
The Sport
The entry-level Renegade is the Sport. It has 16-inch steel wheels, power windows and door locks, and heated exterior side mirrors. Inside, it comes with a height-adjustable driver’s seat, a split-folding rear seat, and cloth upholstery. Tech features include a 7-inch touch screen display, the Uconnect infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an auxiliary input, satellite radio, Bluetooth, and a six-speaker stereo.
Even the base Renegade has advanced safety systems that include a forward-collision warning system, automatic braking, a blind-spot monitor, and rear cross-traffic alert. It also comes with lane-departure warning and lane-keep assist.
The Latitude
Stepping up from the base to the Latitude adds 17-inch alloy wheels, roof rails, more body-colored exterior trim elements, and tinted glass. This trim also adds cornering fog lights. Inside, there is a simulated-leather-wrapped steering wheel, ambient LED lighting, and upgraded cloth upholstery. It also adds an upgraded driver information display and the option for remote start, an 8.4-inch touch screen, a power-adjustable driver’s seat, heated front seats, and a 115-volt power outlet.
The Latitude offers both the 80th Anniversary Package and the Islander Package. Each has unique 19-inch wheels, and the Islander adds a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, hood decals, and blue accent stitching on the seats.
The Limited
The Renegade Limited adds to the Latitude trim and comes with 18-inch wheels, automatic windshield wipers, and windshield wiper de-icers. Inside, it comes standard with heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat. It upgrades to leather upholstery and makes the 8.4-inch touch screen and the 115-volt power outlet standard. The Limited gets its power from the 1.3-liter turbo four-cylinder engine with 177 horsepower and comes standard with four-wheel drive.
The Trailhawk
The Trailhawk stands out from the other models with its additional off-road features. These include an upgraded four-wheel-drive system with low-range settings, 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, and more rugged exterior trim elements. Jeep gives it a raised suspension to get over rough terrain, and it has front and rear tow hooks along with skid plates. A full-size spare tire comes with this Renegade. Inside, it has upgraded cloth upholstery, red trim accents, all-season floor mats, and an upgraded instrument cluster.
Options
The top three trims have the option for the Sun and Sound Package. This comes with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof, LED exterior lighting, and it adds a 9-speaker Alpine stereo system.
The 2021 Jeep Renegade will take you over any terrain or provide a nice ride around town. Its small size makes it capable of slipping into tight spots, while its engine lineup is peppy and fuel-efficient.
