Engine
The 2021 Challenger's starting powerhouse is a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine that produces 303 horsepower and 268 pound-feet of torque. For more power, opt for the 375-horsepower 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 that offers 410 pound-feet of torque. Next up is the 392 HEMI V-8, which delivers 485 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. The supercharged 6.2-liter HEMI V-8 outputs 717 horsepower and 656 pound-feet of torque. This same engine, in the Hellcat Redeye, pumps out 797 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque. In the SRT Super Stock, it creates 807 horsepower and 707 pound-feet of torque.
All engines are matched to either a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
Choose a trim level that offers the performance gear you're most excited about. The GT gives you paddle shifters on the steering wheel. The R/T Scat Pack introduces the launch control features, Brembo brakes, tuned suspension, and multiple drive modes.
