2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee

You can choose from eight trim levels with the 2021 Grand Cherokee: the Laredo E, Laredo X, Limited, Trailhawk, Overland, Summit, SRT, and Trackhawk. Two limited-edition models, namely the 80th Anniversary Edition and the High Altitude, are also available. The base trim is well-equipped with bright roof rails, halogen headlights, power-adjustable and heated mirrors, 18-inch aluminum wheels, fog lights, and LED taillights. The Laredo X trim adds a power liftgate, while the Limited trim comes with auto-dimming mirrors and a single-pane sunroof. With the 80th Anniversary trim, you'll get aesthetic upgrades such as 20-inch Granite Chrystal wheels and Granite Crystal exterior accents, while the Trailhawk trim adds off-road-ready features such as all-terrain tires, red tow hooks, underbody skid plates, and a heavy-duty engine cooling system. The Overland trim comes with rain-sensing wipers and bi-xenon headlights, and the High Altitude trim boasts a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and a chrome dual exhaust. With the Summit trim comes an available black roof and a chrome exterior trim, while the performance-focused SRT trim provides high-performance brakes and high-performance tires. The Trackhawk trim also adds performance features such as a sport exhaust with quad exhaust tips.

You can choose from four available engines with the Grand Cherokee, all of which are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. The standard engine is a 3.6-liter V-6 that produces 295 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque, while an optional 5.7-liter V-8 engine generates an output of 360 horsepower and 390 pound-feet of torque. The SRT trim is powered by an energetic 6.4-liter V-8 engine that delivers 470 horsepower and 475 pound-feet of torque. However, it's the 6.2-liter engine that powers the Trackhawk that steals the show. This engine kicks out an amazing 707 horsepower and 645 pound-feet of torque. All engines, except the base 3.6-liter, provide a best-in-class towing capacity of up to 7,200 pounds.

If you become excited about a track-tuned performance, take a closer look at the SRT and Trackhawk trims. Apart from their powerful engines, these trims offer high-performance equipment such as Brembo brakes, a Quadra-Trac Active On-Demand 4x4 system, and a Launch Control system, which allows for consistent straight-line acceleration. These trims also feature Performance Pages, which provide performance stats and information about things like fluid levels and pressure gauges.

The Grand Cherokee's cabin is comfortable and well-equipped. The standard 7-inch infotainment system is user-friendly and offers a 7-inch display, USB ports, satellite radio, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, and six speakers. Other standard features include a power-adjustable driver's seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, keyless ignition and entry, and cloth upholstery. Higher trims add many conveniences, such as an auto-dimming rearview mirror, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, leather upholstery, and memory settings. You can also opt for an upgraded infotainment system with an 8.4-inch display and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot.

The Grand Cherokee offers standard safety and driver-assist systems such as a rearview camera, rear cross-traffic alert, blind-spot monitoring, and rear parking sensors. Available systems include lane-departure warning, parallel parking assist, forward-collision warning, and adaptive cruise control.
