Trim Levels (Exterior)
The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica comes in four trim levels: the Touring, Touring L, Limited, and Pinnacle. Across all trim levels, the body measures 204.3 inches long, 79.6 inches wide, and 69.9 inches tall. Wheel sizes range from 17 to 20 inches depending on your trim. The Pacifica continues to be an eye-pleaser with the 2022 model. Its four-door design is sporty, inspired by the sleek looks of crossover SUVs. Standard exterior features include daytime running lights, heated side-view mirrors, and a power liftgate.
Engine (Power)
The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica offers a single powertrain option: a 3.6-liter V-6 capable of generating 287 horsepower and 262 pound-feet of torque. The engine pairs with a nine-speed automatic transmission at every trim level.
Performance
The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica provides commendable accelerating power for a three-row minivan. The V-6 engine is capable of taking you from 0 to 60 mph in under eight seconds. Front-wheel-drive is the standard drivetrain option, though the Touring L, Limited, and Pinnacle trims have all-wheel-drive as an available option. The fuel economy varies depending on your drivetrain option. All of the front-wheel-drive versions get an EPA-estimated 19 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. If you opt for all-wheel-drive, expect 17 and 25 mpg in city and highway driving, respectively.
Interior
With a passenger volume of 165 cubic feet, the 2022 Chrysler Pacifica easily fits up to seven people across its three-row layout. The legroom is ample no matter where you sit. The front row gets you up to 41.1 inches, the second row gets 39 inches, and the rearmost row gets 36.5 inches.
Its cargo volume is also impressive. Behind the third row, you get 32 cubic feet of space in its storage well. By folding down the third row, you expand the cargo volume to 87.5 cubic feet. Should you need even more space, fold down the second row for a maximum volume of 140.5 cubic feet.
As for small-space storage, the Pacifica has plenty to offer. Driver and passengers alike can appreciate the various beverage holders, consoles, and other small storage areas throughout the cabin. Starting at the Touring L trim level, they can also enjoy the standard leather seats and dual-pane panoramic sunroof.
The Pacifica doesn't skimp on technology features either. The center stack presents a standard 10.1-inch touch screen display. The Uconnect 5 infotainment system allows you to configure the home screen to your preferences and is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. An entertainment system is available for the Pinnacle trim, while all levels provide multiple USB ports around the cabin.
Safety Features
The 2022 Chrysler Pacifica has an excellent safety rating, thanks in part to its long list of safety features. All trim levels come standard with contents such as a pedestrian automatic emergency braking system, forward-collision warning with active braking, a lane-departure warning system with lane-keep assist technology, adaptive cruise control, and a blind-spot monitoring system.
