The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator has taken the mid-size truck market by storm and, at the Detroit Auto Show, was announced as the 2020 North American Truck of the Year in the North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year awards. The Gladiator is offered in Sport, Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon trim levels.

Standard Features

All models offer a 5-foot bed and a 3.6-liter V-6 engine delivering 285 horsepower and 260 pound-feet of torque to the standard all-wheel-drive system. You can go with the standard six-speed manual transmission or opt for an eight-speed automatic. For a truly fun outdoor experience, the four-door cab features a removable folding soft top and doors, and a fold-down front windshield. The standard 4,500-pound towing capacity is provided by the class two bumper hitch with its combination four- and seven-pin plug and anti-sway trailer control.

Sport

Sport models feature front fog lights, 17-inch black steel wheels, cloth upholstery, a height-adjustable driver's seat, a 60/40 split-folding rear seat, manual mirrors, windows, and door locks, a tilt-and-telescoping steering column, air conditioning, and cruise control. The Uconnect 3 infotainment system has a 5-inch touch screen, Bluetooth for media streaming, and an eight-speaker sound system with a media hub offering auxiliary and USB inputs.

Sport S

The Sport S adds automatic headlights, alloy wheels, heated power door mirrors, power windows, power door and tailgate locks, and a leather-bound steering wheel. You also get the options of the Uconnect 4 infotainment system and a 115-volt power outlet in the truck bed. Both Sport and Sport S models can be equipped with the Max Tow Package that enables a maximum towing capacity of 7,650 pounds. It includes a class IV receiver hitch, heavy-duty Dana front and rear axles with a 4:10 axle ratio, heavy-duty engine cooling, a trailer hitch zoom camera, and a daytime running light system.

Overland

Stepping up to the Overland trim gets you daytime running lights, 18-inch wheels, side steps, upgraded fabric upholstery, LED ambient lighting, and dual-zone automatic temperature control. It features the Uconnect 4 infotainment system with a 7-inch touch screen, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, Dual Remote USB ports, and USB host flip. Adding the Trailer Tow Package gives the Overland a towing capacity of up to 6,000 pounds.

Rubicon

The Gladiator Rubicon is designed to cope with the terrain wherever your adventures take you. It features increased ground clearance, 17-inch wheels with all-terrain tires, the Rock-Trac 4x4 system with a 4:1 crawl ratio, locking front and rear differentials, an electronic disconnecting sway bar, Fox shocks, rock rails, and skid plates. Red front and rear tow hooks enable you to help get lesser vehicles out of trouble. To match its capability, the Rubicon has unique exterior and interior styling. Among the options for Sport S, Overland, and Rubicon models are the Jeep Active Safety Group with blind-spot and cross-path detection, rear parking sensors, and LED signature taillights; the Cold Weather Group offering heated front seats and steering wheel, and remote start; and the Premium Audio Group featuring an 8.4-inch touch screen, navigation, and an Alpine audio system with satellite and HD radio.
