Power and Performance

The 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee lineup includes several powerful engines capable of carrying your family anywhere. All engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Most trims are equipped with a 295-horsepower, 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine with start/stop tech to increase fuel efficiency. Properly equipped, the 3.6-liter engine can tow 6,200 pounds. A 360-horsepower, 5.7-liter V-8 engine is available on the Trailhawk, Overland, High Altitude, and Summit trims. The 5.7-liter engine has a maximum towing capacity of 7,200 pounds.

The Grand Cherokee SRT trim is equipped with a 475-horsepower, 6.4-liter SRT V-8 with five drive modes, including auto, sport, track, snow, and tow. The SRT includes Jeep’s Quadra-Trac Active On-Demand four-wheel-drive system, capable of handling even the most challenging terrain. The Trackhawk trim has a supercharged 707-horsepower, 6.2-liter V-8 engine.

Comfort and Convenience Features

The Jeep Grand Cherokee will keep your family comfortable, no matter how long the drive. Features such as dual-zone automatic temperature control, acoustic front glass, and a 60/40 split-folding rear seat are standard on all models. If you have little ones in the rear seat, keep them entertained on long trips with Jeep’s available Blu-ray rear entertainment system. The entertainment system includes two 9-inch screens that can play both DVDs and Blu-ray discs. Wireless headphones allow kids to watch their favorite movies without disturbing the adults in the front seat.
