Midsize three-row SUVs are one of the most popular classes of car out there in the United States today. It’s easy to see why when you have vehicles like the 2022 Dodge Durango representing the class: this is an SUV that finesses the line between performance and practicality. The new Durango also has the added benefit of coming in five different trim levels.

2022 Durango SXT

The SXT is the base model of the Durango, but it still includes plenty of enticing features. The SXT comes with the Durango’s powerful 3.6L V6 engine: perfect for towing and hauling cargo. Shoppers can choose between the rear- or all-wheel-drive. Three-row seating is standard, as are a variety of safety features, such as the rearview camera, blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert. One favourite perk of the base SXT is the standard tri-zone climate control!

2022 Durango GT

The GT comes with the same powertrain options and engine as the SXT, but combines them with a dual exhaust that ups the Durango’s already considerable horsepower. The GT also upgrades to 20-inch fine silver wheels, heated seats, LED foglamps, and an available wireless charging pad. Shoppers can opt for the GT+ and enjoy additional features like adaptive cruise control, lane-departure warning and lane-keep assist, rain-sensing wipers, and more!

2022 Durango R/T

The R/T ups the ante on power by upgrading the Durango to a 5.7L HEMI V8. This is a trim that’s all about performance: if towing capacity is what you’re looking for, the R/T definitely delivers. The R/T also upgrades the Durango with additional features built onto the GT package, including a 10.1-inch touch-screen display, navigation, front parking sensors, and a personalizable memory feature for the driver’s seat, steering wheel, power mirrors, and radio pre-sets.

2022 Durango Citadel

The premium Durango driving experience, the Citadel trim includes all the best features of the GT and R/T trims, plus Nappa leather seating, adaptive cruise control, captain’s chair seating in the second row, and a power sunroof, among other things. The 3.6L V6 is standard, with the 5.7L HEMI optional in this package. Shoppers can also opt in for a 825-watt Harman Kardon soundsystem and a Blu-Ray entertainment system for the passengers in the back!

2022 Durango SRT 392

If the Citadel is the cream of the crop when it comes to the Durango’s trim levels, then the SRT 392 is the whole farm. The SRT comes with standard AWD and a 6.4L HEMI V8 engine, making it the most powerful version of the Durango, and among the most powerful vehicles in its class. The SRT also comes with heavy-duty performance brakes, adaptive damping for improved handling and suspension, and a maximum towing capacity of 8,700 pounds.

With so many trim levels to choose from, we understand if you want to check out the options for yourself! Come visit us at Tom O’Brien CJDR in Indianapolis, and find yourself the perfect version of the Dodge Durango (or any of our other quality new and used vehicles) today!
