2019 Chrysler 300The Chrysler 300 is the brand’s flagship, a full-size sedan that embodies what makes Chrysler an upscale marque. The 300 offers better features and a better interior than what you normally get from affordable brands, plus it has the roomy trunk and passenger space you expect from a large car. However, they still keep the price lower than what you see in the luxury market. Thanks to this combination, the 2019 Chrysler 300 is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a full-size car.

The Engine Selection

The 2019 Chrysler 300 has power to spare, no matter which trim you choose. On low trim levels you get a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that can give you 292 horsepower. That’s more than enough to roar down any highway, and the sporty 300S bumps that number up to an even 300 horsepower. The top trims get eight potent cylinders in a 5.7-liter engine, and with this under the hood, the 300 gets up to 363 horsepower. V-8 is also an efficient engine: when cruising on the highway it can deactivate half the cylinders to improve your gas mileage.

The Comfortable Interior

The engineers who designed the 2019 Chrysler 300’s interior made a point of using high-grade materials for the seats, doors, dashboard, and other surfaces. Most trims come standard with leather seats, and the top 300C trim uses a quilted Nappa leather that’s both smooth and soft to the touch. And if that’s not enough comfort, the 300C’s front seats also have heating and ventilation. Then there’s the heated leather steering wheel and climate-controlled cup holders that will keep your hot drinks hot and your cold drinks cold.

The Technology

No matter which trim level you choose, the 2019 Chrysler 300 comes with an 8.4-inch touch screen that runs Uconnect 4C, the latest version of Chrysler’s infotainment system. You also get a complimentary subscription to SiriusXM Radio and Guardian, a system that gives you instant access to roadside assistance and theft protection anywhere in the United States. On top of all that, the 300C has an available upgrade that gives you a navigation system, five years of SiriusXM Travel Link and Traffic, and a 19-speaker audio system by Harman Kardon.

The Safety Features

Luxury cars come with plenty of safety features, and in this sense the 2019 Chrysler 300 is no different. The exact feature list depends on the trim level, but a 2019 300 can come with the LaneSense Lane Departure Warning with Lane Keep Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop, and ParkSense Front and Rear Park Assist. That last feature uses ultrasonic sensors to warn you when you’re about to bump into something at low speeds.

The 2019 Chrysler 300 gives you the kind of interior and power you’d expect from a German luxury car company but with the price of an affordable vehicle. If you want to see what the Chrysler 300 has to offer for yourself, stop by your local Chrysler dealership and schedule a test drive.
