Any parent knows that it can be a difficult task to get everyone in the family to agree on something for dinner. The adults might want something healthy and nutritious in a calm ambiance, while the children plead for something full of sugar at a place that has bounce castles and indoor playgrounds. To help make dinner plans easier to figure out, we’ve compiled a list of our favorite family restaurants near Indianapolis, IN.

1. Sero’s Family Restaurant

What we love most is the fact that Sero’s Family Restaurant has been around for over 20 years, so when we visit we know that we’re supporting a local institution in Indianapolis. They serve breakfast all day long, so you know that the kids are going to love it. But really, who doesn’t love having pancakes and bacon at 9 in the evening?

Sero’s serves up some truly extraordinary omelets. Some of our favorites? The first has to be the Super Meat Omelette, made especially for those who like an extra serving of protein in their diet. On the other end of the spectrum, the Veggie Omelette is light and flavorful while keeping the calorie count as low as possible. For kids, the Mickey Mouse Pancake can’t be beat. Watch their faces light up as their favorite cartoon mouse appears on their plate!

2. Paragon Restaurant

Paragon is a quaint little restaurant that offers a large variety of dishes to its patrons, so there’s something on the menu for every appetite. Paragon brings the flavors of the Aegean Sea right to Indianapolis with their scrumptious Gyro wraps and sandwiches, while their sausage and gravy biscuits keep things close to home.

But what makes Paragon Restaurant one of the best places in Indianapolis is the fact that all day, every day pancakes, waffles, and French toast are served for just under 4 dollars. And they don’t just serve basic pancakes. They have banana nut and strawberry pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes, and apple pancakes, just to name a few. With such great flavors at such great prices, there’s no better place for breakfast or brunch as a family!

3. Public House

If you’re looking for something a bit more upscale, we recommend Public House. When you step in through the front door, you immediately feel a sense of quality and sophistication, and the dishes served at Public House reflect that. With dishes like baked salmon and lamb, Public House offers meals that you simply can’t find at every restaurant in Indianapolis. They even have lobster rolls! Make sure to follow them on their social media accounts so you don’t miss any special discounts and events. Public House is open every day but Sunday from 11am to 7pm.

To bring the whole family to any of these great restaurants, make sure you’re driving a spacious car like the 2022 Jeep Gladiator Overland 4×4. Come check one out at Tom O’Brien Crysler Jeep Dodge Ram today!
